Thank you for volunteering with FIRST! Follow these steps to register.

  1. Visit the Volunteer Information and Matching System (VIMS) website.
  2. Click “Create FIRST Account” to register.
  3. Read the agreement, check the tick box, and click “OK”.
  4. Fill out the fields. When done, click “Create Account”.
  5. On the “Volunteer Role Applications” screen, click on “Apply for an Event”.
  6. Select the program you would like to volunteer for, and enter the country and state.
  7. Click on “Search Events”. Select the event you would like to volunteer at.
  8. Click on the roles you would like to have. Use the arrows to move the roles around in order of preference. Select the days you are available, and add any comments about time availability.
  9. Click on “Apply for selected role(s)”.
  10. You will receive an email shortly confirming your role for the selected events. Later, the event director will confirm your role.
